MORE INFORMATION

Excellent quality antifouling based on modified vinyl resins, cuprous oxide and organic antifouling compounds. Being a semi-hard matrix anti-fouling it has  very well balanced solubility which makes it suitable for slow boats and speed boats.

USE

1. Remove all grease from the fiberglass surface using a solvent, or in the case of wooden or iron boat the final coat with an adequate epoxy curing cycle (for more information see MARLIN catalog).
2. Sand the surface well with medium coarse grit paper (80-120).
3. Apply one coat of FIBERGLASS PRIMER (both on fiberglass and epoxy cycle).
4. Wait at least 3 hours (20 ° C), then apply the first coat of TRITON.
5. After at least 6 hours (20 ° C), apply a second coat of TRITON.
6. After at least 6 hours, apply a third coat of TRITON over sharp edges or waterline
7. On hulls that have already been treated with TRITON, remove the porous surface layer with an energetic pressure wash or better still by sanding. The same procedure should be carried out even in the cases of other traditional antifouling, most of which TRITON is compatible with. In case of very porous surface, or one that is in bad condition, before TRITON, apply a coat of UNIVERSAL PRIMER diluted with about 20% of THINNER # 2.
8. Before launching, wait at least 16 hours (at 20 ° C or more) from the last coat.

WARNINGS
• Mix very thoroughly before use.
• Do not apply on light alloy boats.
• Do not use at temperatures below 0 ° C or above 38 ° C. In case of cold temperatures, before launching, it is important to wait at least 48 hours after the last coat.
• Apply at least 2 coats with minimum consumption of 9 m2 per coat (the overall consumption should never be less than 4.5m2/liter), and a third coat on the waterline and edges.
• Any underwater cleaning of the hull (with brushes, abrasive felt pads, sponges) significantly shortens the duration of protection, as each of these operations removes quite a lot of thickness.
